US Monastir have further strengthened their team for the upcoming Basketball Africa League. American center Andre Washington (2.16 m tall and 26 years) has signed with the Tunisian champions.

Washington played for Wake Forest (4 years) and East Carolina (1 year) in college. After going undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft, Washington decided to go to Raptors 905 of the NBA G League. It is the affiliate of the Toronto Raptors. Then, he left for Europe to play for KB Rahoveci in Kosovo. His last team was Al Hala in Bahrain.

With Washington on the team, Monastir now has two foreign players (both American). Earlier this week, they already signed guard Shane Rector. Monastir are improving their roster for the 2020 Basketball Africa League. Monastir qualified directly as Tunisian champions.
